When we are generous with our resources, we become active participants in helping people follow Jesus. We encourage all of those who call The Summit Church their home to give, not out of obligation, but out of a spirit of worship. Generosity is a practice of discipleship. As we are generous, Jesus transforms our hearts to be more like him, and we experience the joy of giving!

In Romans 15:13, the Apostle Paul prays this:

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe God is calling us to trust Him in all areas of our life, including our tithes and offerings. And, we trust that as our faith increases, we will overflow with joy and peace. An attitude and practice of generosity inspires others, impacts the world, and blesses the donor.

Not only do your gifts help people follow Jesus and find life, but when you make a plan to give and setup recurring giving, we can plan better, too. Recurring giving sets our ministries up for success by giving a more predictable stream of income. Recurring giving makes a statement that practicing generosity and investing in God’s Kingdom is a priority for your family, too.
