Summit Students are invited to a night of worship and community on Wednesday, February 19 from 6pm-8pm. We’ll immerse ourselves in God’s goodness through song and community. Plus, there will be an exciting surprise at the end of the night!

This is a great chance to invite someone for a fun night that brings them closer to God.

You’re invited to join us for fellowship and refreshments as you enjoy a free concert by Paul Land. There will be coffee and tea served!

Summit Seniors is designed for people ages 55 and over to gather with others in the same stage of life and experience the joy that comes from growing your faith in community.  You will enjoy refreshments, fellowship and teaching about Jesus and build lasting relationships that will encourage your spiritual journey. 

We’re having some fun at The Summit Church on Sunday, February 9. We’ll be hosting a Chiefs Pre-Game Party before and after worship services at 9am and 10:30am. There will be free Super Bowl Sundaes, a photo op and some fun at Summit Kids, too!

It’s a great chance to have a little fun before the Superbowl and gather together as we kick off a new series called The Relationship Playbook.

We’ll be hosting a blended service for Chapel and Worship Center on Sunday, February 2. This service will take place in the Worship Center at 9am to celebrate what God is doing through our Waymakers Campaign as we share our commitments together. There will be choir, hymns and more! There will not be a service in the Chapel at 9am on Sunday, February 2.

Join in the fun during this Super Bowl season as we celebrate at The Summit's "Souper" Bowl Meal Packaging event. We'll partner with The Outreach Program to fight hunger on Saturday, February 1 from 10am-12pm at The Summit Church. We'll be packaging simple nutritious soup meals in an assembly-line fashion. The meals being packaged will stay right here in the community and be distributed through a local organization. This is a great serving opportunity during this time when so many are going hungry!

Ages 6+ are invited to serve.

We’ll only be hosting one service in the Worship Center at 10:30am on Sunday, December 29. Join us at 10:30am in the Worship Center for worship, an encouraging message and a time to reflect on all that God has done in 2024.

Our Chapel service will still take place at 9am.

You're invited to celebrate the Christmas season on Sunday, December 22 in the Chapel! At 9am & 10:30am we'll be hosting a special Christmas Cantata, with songs of the season, Christmas readings, special music and more. It's a great chance to invite a friend to sit with you for this incredible morning as we remember the reason for the season.

Join us for a night of holiday cheer at The Gathering's Cozy Christmas Party! We'll be serving up delicious waffles and hot cocoa, and don't forget to wear your ugliest Christmas sweater for the contest! We'll sing Christmas carols, play festive games, and enjoy good company. It's the perfect way to celebrate the season.

Join us for a one-night in-depth seminar on what it really means for Jesus to be with us. This class will be taught by Israel Kamudzandu, a professor of New Testament studies and biblical interpretation, and line up with the devotional we’re going through together as a church, Jesus With Us. Dr. Kamudzandu will take us through the incarnation of Jesus and talk about what Jesus’ birth means for our lives. This will be a great night of learning and reflection!

You’re invited to a very special evening to kick off Christmas on Friday, December 6! The Lee’s Summit community is invited for A Very Summit Christmas from 6pm-8pm. We’ll begin the Christmas season with the very best holiday classic songs, some great refreshments, interactive fun for kids and more.

The fun will begin in our lobby at 6pm with refreshments, live music on the grand piano and a chance to shop some local vendors for Christmas gifts. The concert will begin in the Worship Center at 6:30pm.

This program is designed for everyone (young & old) to kick off the season together. It’s a great opportunity to invite a friend or neighbor!

This Thanksgiving at The Summit, we are providing an opportunity for you to make a larger impact in our community and around the world! We will be providing and delivering groceries to those in need in Lee’s Summit on Saturday, November 23. This will allow families to make their own Thanksgiving meal for their family on Thanksgiving Day. Register below!

Families are invited to come together on Thursday, November 14 from 6pm-8pm and assemble and pack boxes of Thanksgiving groceries. Boxes will be put together and filled with all the groceries a family might need for Thanksgiving. This is a great opportunity to serve with your family.

Join us for the all church meeting where members of The Summit Church will be voting on two things!

First, the recommended slate of leadership team members for 2025. Each of the people you will be voting on are members of The Summit Church who are actively engaged in the life of the church through serving, giving, and attending. This slate has been prayerfully considered by the Nominating Team and the Church Council for your consideration.

Second, we will be voting on a proposed budget. The budget for 2025 is based on 2024 income projections and has been created with a vision to help us continue to be a church FOR our community.

The Lee's Summit community is invited to Sips Coffee at The Summit Church to pray with us on Election Day. From 6am-8am, the coffee shop will be open for people in our church family and community to participate in self-guided prayer opportunities and to grab a latte while you center your heart for the day ahead. At 6:30am & 7:30am, our team will be hosting a short time of community worship and prayer as we pray for our own hearts, our community, our leaders and our country. It's the best place to stop by for a few minutes before heading to the polls as we seek God's wisdom & direction together.

Let’s celebrate an extra hour of sleep with donuts in kids and student ministry! Sunday, November 3 time falls back. Remember to change your clocks and get a donut in kids ministry, or if you’re a student, in the student section at 10:30am service. This will be a sweet way for kids and students to remember the time change!

Students are invited to the most spook-tacular night of the year! That Gathering is having a Halloween Party on Wednesday, October from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. There will be frightfully fun games, free dinner, and a costume contest. Students should dress up, bring friends and be prepared for an eerie-sistable night of fun! It will be a treat to see you there.

Summit Kids are invited to wear their costumes to the 9am or 10:30am service on Sunday, October 27! This will be a fun day of dress-up and excitement in Kid's Ministry. No masks or scary costumes are allowed. if you have any questions, contact Family Ministry Director, Hayley Schuchardt.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is hosting an event for all middle and high school students in the Lee's Summit area to come together on October 14 for worship, teaching, and community with Christians from every school. Students are invited to join Cole, our student ministry coordinator, at Fields of Faith as we worship and learn with other Christian students in Lee’s Summit. Following Jesus at school can feel lonely, but coming together with several other churches gives us a chance to meet Christians in our schools that we may not have ever met. You are not alone, and coming to Fields of Faith will prove that!

Be FOR our community! On Tuesday, October 8 you have the opportunity to help with sorting and repackaging donated products at Harvester’s Volunteer Engagement Center. Harvester’s helps create equitable access to nutritious food and address the root causes and impact of hunger. This is a great serving project for groups, individuals, or families.

You must be 8 years or older to attend and 8-15 year olds must have a chaperone.
