Join Pastor Ryan on Sunday, April 21 at 11:45am as he personally answers these questions and more at our Membership Gathering! We’ll gather for lunch as we go through what it truly means to be a member of The Summit Church. After that, you will have an opportunity to officially become a member!

We’re partnering with Summit Eco Warriors to help beautify our city! Summit Eco Warriors is working to help clean up our city by organizing groups for trash pick up along the highway. The next day to do that is on Saturday, April 20 from 9am-11am as we remove litter from areas on I-470 in our community.

Volunteers must be ages 15 and over. Safety vests and grabbers will be provided OR you may bring your own. More information will be sent to you upon registration!

Join us for a night of global fun you won't forget on April 3 from 6-8pm. World Party Day is almost here and it's bigger and better than any party you've ever been to before. On a scale of 1-10 these classic party games will be turned up to 11. Think musical chairs, pin the tail on the donkey, and PIÑATAS! This is your chance to take a break from school and have a blast with friends. Get ready to party, we'll see you soon!

You’re invited to our Good Friday service in person on Friday, March 29 at 6:30pm. Through live music and teaching, we will walk through the final days of Jesus’ life together. This service will help you prepare for Easter as we are reminded of the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for us!

• Do you want to learn about the differences between dedication and baptism as well as decide which works best for your family?

• Do you want an opportunity to establish a commitment to raise your children in the way of the Lord?

• Do you want to partner together with others in our church as well as our Family Ministry staff?

If you answered "YES" to any of the prior questions, this class is for you!

Childcare will also be provided for children 5 and under with advance registration.

If you are interested in taking the next step after this class, we will have a Child Dedication and Baptism Celebration service for families Sunday, April 21.

Daylight Saving Time is beginning on March 10, so we wanted to make the morning a little easier for your family as you "spring forward" one hour. Your child is invited to wear their PJ’s to Summit Kids and get a Pop-Tart for breakfast! Pop-Tarts will also be available for students in the student section. We hope to see you there.

Join us on Monday, February 26 from 6:30pm- 7:30pm for a relationships workshop taught by Chris Nicolosi from Building Bridges KC. Chris is a certified life coach, Pastor, Biblical Counselor, and more and will be talking about fostering relationships for anyone at any stage in life. We will be cultivating a view of walking in relationship with the Lord and how to live our Christlike relationship in personal relationships with others! Whether you want to learn about friendship, dating, marriage, or even how to get closer with a coworker, this workshop will equip you to navigate successful relationships with wisdom. We’re collecting shoes for Strong Tower in Haiti on Sunday, February 25! Donate new or gently used shoes which will be shipped to micro-entrepreneurs worldwide. They will then sell the shoe in their local markets to earn income to provide for their families. Check out what Strong Tower is doing here.

Whether you’re dating or married, or just have a close friend group, check out our Date Night Challenge!

You can pick your own date and time, and we will provide you with some resources for some fun and to have some important conversations with your significant other and/or friends. We hope you will take some time to do this challenge and allow God work in and through your relationships.

And, if you have kids in 5th grade and younger, our Kids’ Ministry will be providing childcare for your date night on Friday, February 23 from 5:00pm-8pm!

Join us Thursday, February 22 from 6pm-8pm as we serve at Harvester’s. We will help sort and repackage donated products. This is a great way to be FOR your community as an individual, with a group, or as a family!

Must be 8+ years old and 8-15 year-olds need a chaperone.

Join us for an Ash Wednesday experience happening in the Chapel from 4pm-6pm. This Ash Wednesday, we will be providing you with a time of reflection as the Lent season begins and we prepare our hearts for Easter. This experience should take about 15-20 minutes and is self-guided.

We’re having some fun at The Summit Church on Sunday, February 11. We’ll be hosting a Chiefs Pre-Game Party at before and after worship services at 9am and 10:30am. There will be free Chiefs Kingdom cold brew, donuts, a photo op and some fun at Summit Kids, too!

It’s a great chance to have a little fun before the Superbowl together and gather together as we kick off a new series called At The Table.

6th-12th grade students are invited to gather their crew for Rally where titans clash in epic, real-life showdowns! We're talking REAL LIFE battleship, rocket league, and let's not forget the mother of all throw-downs – dodgeball. Rally is an event designed for middle school and high school students to have an incredible night at The Gathering. It's a chance to not only have some fun, but also invite their friends to experience the Christian community at their church. So, get your crew hyped, dust off your competitive spirit, and prepare to dominate the arena. Mark your calendars and clear your schedules on February 7 from 6pm-8pm for the most epic event of the year!

Be FOR your community with The Summit's Mission Partner, Flourish Furniture Bank on Wednesday, February 7 from 8:30am-12pm. This is a great time to see what Flourish does, take a tour of their facility and serve in one of many areas (woodworking, sorting, sewing and more). There is limited space so register soon.

Have you ever thought about what it’s like to volunteer on one of our Worship or Production Teams? This event is the best opportunity to meet our team leaders if you’re interested in volunteering through music, audio, video, lighting and more. It’s taking place on Sunday, January 28 at 11:45am, and you’ll have a chance to tour backstage, our video / audio room, green room and sound booth and learn more about volunteering.

Join us at The Summit Church on Saturday, January 27 from 10am-12pm as we work with The Outreach Program to package simple nutritious meals in an assembly-line fashion. The meals being packaged will stay right here in the community and be distributed through a local organization.

You’re invited to join us for a night of worship on Wednesday, January 24 at The Summit Church! This is simply an opportunity to gather not just to praise God, but to discover how and why we can cultivate a deeper connection with God through worship. We’ll sing together, pray and talk about spiritual rhythms that will connect us more regularly with Jesus. We hope to see you there!

We’ll only be hosting one service in the Worship Center at 10:30am on Sunday, December 31. Join us at 10:30am in the Worship Center for worship, an encouraging message and a time to reflect on all that God has done in 2023.

Our Chapel service will still take place at 9am.

You’re invited to celebrate Christmas at The Summit Church in Lee’s Summit! This Christmas, you and your family will enjoy the songs of the season as we are reminded that Jesus is the light of the world. There will be a fun program just for kids, hot chocolate, a great photo opportunity, and you will leave with a free gift from us for you family.
