Kids Camp at The Summit Church

The Summit Church Kids Camp brings the ultimate day camp right to our neighborhood, combining fun, faith and friendship into an action-packed week. Kids will cultivate their God-given skills and talents with a mix of indoor and outdoor moments, physical activity and creative play, with epic adventures at camp all day and sleeping soundly back at home at night.

This year, we’re partnering with Connect to bring your child the best camp experience! Connect Camps commit to teaching Christ-centered truths every day to every camper. The foundations taught will be engaging and memorable so kids can hide these truths in their hearts and grow in their faith.

Jesus With Us - One Night Seminar

Join us for a one-night in-depth seminar on what it really means for Jesus to be with us. This class will be taught by Israel Kamudzandu, a professor of New Testament studies and biblical interpretation, and line up with the devotional we’re going through together as a church, Jesus With Us. Dr. Kamudzandu will take us through the incarnation of Jesus and talk about what Jesus’ birth means for our lives. This will be a great night of learning and reflection!

A Very Summit Christmas

You’re invited to a very special evening to kick off Christmas on Friday, December 6! The Lee’s Summit community is invited for A Very Summit Christmas from 6pm-8pm. We’ll begin the Christmas season with the very best holiday classic songs, some great refreshments, interactive fun for kids and more.

The fun will begin in our lobby at 6pm with refreshments, live music on the grand piano and a chance to shop some local vendors for Christmas gifts. The concert will begin in the Worship Center at 6:30pm.

This program is designed for everyone (young & old) to kick off the season together. It’s a great opportunity to invite a friend or neighbor!

Summit Seniors - Lunch Gathering

Our next Summit Seniors gathering is coming up on Wednesday, November 13 at 11:30am! You’re invited to join us for fellowship and lunch as we learn about gifts, gratitude, and serving. We’ll talk about the way we can give a gift to our families through personal planning and, we will be collecting items to give as gifts to support Pro Deo Youth Center.

Items needed for Pro Deo: individual chips, Pringles, Cheez-Its, Takis (hot chips), individual Mac N Cheese Bowls, Noodle Bowls/Ramen, Little Debbie Snacks, Fruit Snacks, Gushers, Pop-Tarts

Summit Seniors is designed for people ages 55 and over to gather with others in the same stage of life and experience the joy that comes from growing your faith in community.  You will enjoy food, fellowship and teaching about Jesus and build lasting relationships that will encourage your spiritual journey.

Join us for the all church meeting where members of The Summit Church will be voting on two things!

First, the recommended slate of leadership team members for 2025. Each of the people you will be voting on are members of The Summit Church who are actively engaged in the life of the church through serving, giving, and attending. This slate has been prayerfully considered by the Nominating Team and the Church Council for your consideration.

Second, we will be voting on a proposed budget. The budget for 2025 is based on 2024 income projections and has been created with a vision to help us continue to be a church FOR our community.

We’ve partnered with Hillcrest Transitional Housing, Lee’s Summit Elementary and Crittenton Children’s Center to provide gifts and essential items for families at those organizations. When you adopt a family or a child, you will have an opportunity to make their Christmas a little brighter by purchasing gifts and other essential items for them. The Lee's Summit community is invited to Sips Coffee at The Summit Church to pray with us on Election Day. From 6am-8am, the coffee shop will be open for people in our church family and community to participate in self-guided prayer opportunities and to grab a latte while you center your heart for the day ahead. At 6:30am & 7:30am, our team will be hosting a short time of community worship and prayer as we pray for our own hearts, our community, our leaders and our country. It's the best place to stop by for a few minutes before heading to the polls as we seek God's wisdom & direction together.

Be a part of The Outreach Programs' unique way to fight hunger on Saturday, October 26 from 10am-12pm at The Summit Church. We'll be packaging simple nutritious meals in an assembly-line fashion. The meals being packaged will stay right here in the community and be distributed through a local organization. This is a great serving opportunity during this time when so many are going hungry.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is hosting an event for all middle and high school students in the Lee's Summit area to come together on October 14 for worship, teaching, and community with Christians from every school. Students are invited to join Cole, our student ministry coordinator, at Fields of Faith as we worship and learn with other Christian students in Lee’s Summit. Following Jesus at school can feel lonely, but coming together with several other churches gives us a chance to meet Christians in our schools that we may not have ever met. You are not alone, and coming to Fields of Faith will prove that!

Help fill The FOR Truck’s mobile food pantry on Sunday, October 13 and 20! Here’s what a family of 3-4 needs:

·        2 cans - Canned Meat (Tuna, Chicken, Spam, etc.)
·        3 cans - Vegetables (corn, green beans, peas, beans, canned tomatoes)
·        4 cans - Soups and Stews
·        3 cans - Canned Fruit
·        2 cans - Canned Broth (Chicken, Beef, Veggie)
·        2 cans - Beans 
·        1 plastic jar - Peanut Butter
·        1 plastic jar - Pasta Sauce

Bring as much as you can. Please do not bring glass containers. We will be collecting the items in bins in the lobby.

Harvester’s helps create equitable access to nutritious food and address the root causes and impact of hunger. This is a great serving project for groups, individuals, or families.
