Families are invited to come together on Thursday, November 14 from 6pm-8pm and assemble and pack boxes of Thanksgiving groceries. Boxes will be put together and filled with all the groceries a family might need for Thanksgiving. This is a great opportunity to serve with your family.

Our next Summit Seniors gathering is coming up on Wednesday, November 13 at 11:30am! You’re invited to join us for fellowship and lunch as we learn about gifts, gratitude, and serving. We’ll talk about the way we can give a gift to our families through personal planning and, we will be collecting items to give as gifts to support Pro Deo Youth Center.

Items needed for Pro Deo: individual chips, Pringles, Cheez-Its, Takis (hot chips), individual Mac N Cheese Bowls, Noodle Bowls/Ramen, Little Debbie Snacks, Fruit Snacks, Gushers, Pop-Tarts

Summit Seniors is designed for people ages 55 and over to gather with others in the same stage of life and experience the joy that comes from growing your faith in community.  You will enjoy food, fellowship and teaching about Jesus and build lasting relationships that will encourage your spiritual journey. 

Join us for the all church meeting where members of The Summit Church will be voting on two things!

First, the recommended slate of leadership team members for 2025. Each of the people you will be voting on are members of The Summit Church who are actively engaged in the life of the church through serving, giving, and attending. This slate has been prayerfully considered by the Nominating Team and the Church Council for your consideration.

Second, we will be voting on a proposed budget. The budget for 2025 is based on 2024 income projections and has been created with a vision to help us continue to be a church FOR our community.

The Lee's Summit community is invited to Sips Coffee at The Summit Church to pray with us on Election Day. From 6am-8am, the coffee shop will be open for people in our church family and community to participate in self-guided prayer opportunities and to grab a latte while you center your heart for the day ahead. At 6:30am & 7:30am, our team will be hosting a short time of community worship and prayer as we pray for our own hearts, our community, our leaders and our country. It's the best place to stop by for a few minutes before heading to the polls as we seek God's wisdom & direction together.

Let’s celebrate an extra hour of sleep with donuts in kids and student ministry! Sunday, November 3 time falls back. Remember to change your clocks and get a donut in kids ministry, or if you’re a student, in the student section at 10:30am service. This will be a sweet way for kids and students to remember the time change!

Students are invited to the most spook-tacular night of the year! That Gathering is having a Halloween Party on Wednesday, October from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. There will be frightfully fun games, free dinner, and a costume contest. Students should dress up, bring friends and be prepared for an eerie-sistable night of fun! It will be a treat to see you there.

Summit Kids are invited to wear their costumes to the 9am or 10:30am service on Sunday, October 27! This will be a fun day of dress-up and excitement in Kid's Ministry. No masks or scary costumes are allowed. if you have any questions, contact Family Ministry Director, Hayley Schuchardt.

Be a part of The Outreach Programs' unique way to fight hunger on Saturday, October 26 from 10am-12pm at The Summit Church. We'll be packaging simple nutritious meals in an assembly-line fashion. The meals being packaged will stay right here in the community and be distributed through a local organization. This is a great serving opportunity during this time when so many are going hungry.

Must be 6+ years old.

Women are invited to join us for Summit Women, a women’s ministry gathering, where we will learn together, build connections, and create a strong community. Summit Women will meet on the third Thursday of every month. At this meeting we’ll discuss sharing faith and inviting others to church. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is hosting an event for all middle and high school students in the Lee's Summit area to come together on October 14 for worship, teaching, and community with Christians from every school. Students are invited to join Cole, our student ministry coordinator, at Fields of Faith as we worship and learn with other Christian students in Lee’s Summit. Following Jesus at school can feel lonely, but coming together with several other churches gives us a chance to meet Christians in our schools that we may not have ever met. You are not alone, and coming to Fields of Faith will prove that!

Be FOR our community! On Tuesday, October 8 you have the opportunity to help with sorting and repackaging donated products at Harvester’s Volunteer Engagement Center. Harvester’s helps create equitable access to nutritious food and address the root causes and impact of hunger. This is a great serving project for groups, individuals, or families.

You must be 8 years or older to attend and 8-15 year olds must have a chaperone.

The Big Give is a benefit dinner & auction to raise funds FOR our community.

Join us at Lone Summit Ranch in Lee’s Summit Friday, September 13 from 6pm to 9pm as we come together to raise funds to be FOR others and help people experience the love of Jesus.

How do you build the faith of the next generation? We want you to have all that you need to equip your kids and/or grandkids for the glory of God. That’s why on Tuesday, August 27 from 6pm-7:30pm Chris Nicolosi from Building Bridges KC will be talking about how we can utilize the past and present to build a strong and faithful future. Parents, empty nesters, and grandparents are welcome! And, dinner and childcare will be provided.

Kids are popping up into new classrooms at Summit Kids on Sunday, August 25! Don't miss this special weekend to move up into new grade levels and celebrate the beginning of a new school year. Parents, grandparents, teachers and educators won’t want to miss our Future Is Everything service on Sunday, August 25! During services at 9am & 10:30am, we’ll hear practical teaching from our Family Ministry team about how we can help the next generation follow Jesus. We believe the faith of the next generation is worth everything and hope you’ll join us to see how God is working in the lives of kids and students.

We want to kick off the school year by praying for your family! On Sunday, August 18 school-aged kids are invited to wear their backpack to church as we take some special moments to pray with and for them. It's a great opportunity to pray for our community and ask God to bless each child and student in Lee's Summit!

Not only will we pray together, but there will be all kinds of resources available for parents in the main lobby, from parenting to spiritual growth for families.

We want to celebrate the way God moved in our students' lives this summer. Join us at the 9am or 10:30am service on Sunday, August 11 to go over life-changing transformations, witness baptisms, and celebrate our students' commitment to growing in their faith!

There will not be Summit Kids programming for K-5th grade or the Chapel service, bring the whole family to camp celebration in the worship center instead!
