Serve in the Community
We believe that God's people are His hands and feet in the world. We provide opportunities for you to find a place to serve others and make a difference. Throughout the year we have several community service projects and events that you can get involved in.
Check out our calendar below to find all events and serving opportunities coming up near you!
the BIG Give
The BIG Give is an annual dinner and auction which helps raise funds to help fight hunger, homelessness and poverty in Lee's Summit and beyond.
Summit lunch program
The Summit Lunch Program prepares and delivers nutritional lunches to kids in the Lee's Summit community during the summer break. Volunteer sign-ups will be coming this spring!
Thanksgiving grocery delivery
Each Thanksgiving, a team of people help deliver free Thanksgiving groceries to those in need in our Lee’s Summit community.
Rise Against Hunger
The Summit Church partners with Rise Against Hunger to package dehydrated meals for those in impoverished nations around the world. You can volunteer at our next packing event!
Compassion Project
Compassion Project is an annual project to adopt a child or a family from Lee's Summit Elementary, Crittenton Children's Center or Hillcrest Transitional Housing to help make Christmas a little brighter by providing Christmas gifts.
